Chris Hou
Music Director of Sky Castle Music and owner of “Red Checkered Studio.”
He released his first album in 1989 and then entered the world of music production and arrangement in the music industry. Since 1995, he has primarily worked on advertising and film scores and has served as a judge for multiple Golden Horse Awards, Golden Melody Awards, and Golden Bell Awards. His music compositions and film scores have been nominated for and won the 60th Golden Horse Awards for Best Original Score.

Ken Chou
Taiwanese lyricist, songwriter, and music producer.
He has participated in the founding of bands like “Light Engine,” “Dark White Collar Class,” and “Ken Chou Group,” winning the Golden Melody Award twice. In 2015, he was the principal designer for the MRT, transfer and exit notifications, and the EasyCard gate sounds for the Taipei MRT Landscape Project.

He was born in Taitung, and he has Amis indigenous heritage. He enjoys planting and finding inspiration in nature. With over 17 years of experience in composition and arrangement, he started learning music at three and graduated from the National University of Arts in Tainan, majoring in composition.

Cheng Chou
Best Sound Effect at the Golden Horse Awards.
He studied in France in 1997 and collected sound materials. After returning to Taiwan, he got involved in post-production sound mixing and sound design for films and television. He won the Golden Bell Award for Best Sound Effect for “Blue Plague” in 2002, was nominated for the 49th Golden Horse Awards for Best Sound Effect for “Black & White Episode 1: The Dawn of Assault” and won the 56th Golden Horse Award for Best Sound Effect for “Nina Wu”.

Transforming typical harsh warning buzzers into less disruptive sounds, this project employs synthesized and instrumental bird calls, reflecting Taichung's avian species. This approach minimizes noise pollution and fosters a closer bond between citizens and their natural environment.

This composition, infused with dreamy, colorful harmonies and accented by the gentle plucking of harps and strings, aims to create a calming effect. It's meant to comfort passengers who have just missed their train, alleviating any sense of regret with its tranquil tones.
