Uncover Memories of the Past
Around the Jiuzhangli Station, a piece of ancient farmland still thrives, filled with rice and other cereal crops, showcasing the rustic charm of countryside life. Although it may lack the bustle and glamour of other stations, it possesses a unique allure. The old-fashioned courtyard houses, rippling rice paddies, railway tracks, and the determined ascent of the trains paint a beautiful picture. This location also serves as a backdrop for renowned Taiwanese films, leaving traces of cinematic history and stories.

Creative Concept:
For the MRT Jiu Zhang Li station, the core design philosophy is to create sounds that evoke direct associations and recognitions with the station name. The composition integrates traditional guitar arrangements with rhythmic lo-fi beats. The rhythm underscores the convenience and speed of the metro system, while the guitar arrangement represents the agricultural landscapes that once surrounded the area. This juxtaposition of elements emphasizes a harmonious contrast, blending the feel of rapid transit with the echoes of a pastoral past.

Rural Scenery
- Work Title: Rural Scenery
-
Creavite Concept:
The music for this station draws inspiration from the area around the Jiuzhangli Metro Station, utilizing elements of folk culture to showcase the land's characteristics and culture. Traditional Taiwanese instruments like the Tian drum, Guzheng, and Yangqin are used to represent aspects of Taiwanese culture. The Tian drum symbolizes the sound of train level crossings, the Yangqin represents the farmers tilling the fields, and the Guzheng symbolizes the water buffalo. In the piece, the interaction between the Yangqin and Guzheng highlights the cooperative spirit between farmers and water buffaloes. A duet technique, common in folk songs, is employed to evoke the pleasant rural atmosphere of Jiuzhangli.
